Women And Youth Center Coordinator

Under the direct supervision of the Makassed Health Care Bureau, Makassed is seeking to employ a qualified women and youth center coordinator for the newly opened women and youth center in Tarik El Jedide area of Beirut.   Duties and responsabilities Planning for programs and activities to be implemented with the women and youth Encouraging new women and youth from the area to get enrolled in the programs implemented overseeing the women and youth and manage their activities Mentoring new groups and individuals as they join/ attend the center Ensuring that proactive training and mentorship takes place within the center Actively bring new ideas on how to better serve women and youth in the center Institutionalization of system, tracking and record keeping and information sharing Preparation and adoption of a clear and publicly communicated annual plan for the center activities Liaise with different funding agencies to ensure funding for projects to be implemented. Prepare monthly reporting of activities implemented Minimum Qualifications required Excellent interpersonnal ,written, and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate with professional and para professional staff Ability to plan short term and long term work objectives and assign tasks and follow up to ensure quality of work and completeness of tasks Ability and willingness to assume responsability Ability to organize, direct, coordinate,coach and supervise the work of others Ability to organize diverse tasks and to handle complex situations capacity for being an active tean player Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations in a multi cultural, multi- ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect of diversity Ability to plan and organize the work, works under tight deadlines, and handle multiple concurrewnt activities Ability to work at the field level Excellent public speaking skills Excellent written and spoken English
