                          Terms of Reference                                                                            ENGLISH TEACHER   Mada is an independent Lebanese non-sectarian, non-profit and non-governmental organization and platform for development, established in 2000.   Mada Association is partnering with Swiss Agency for Development and cooperation (SDC) to implement a cash support project for Lebanese families and communities in Wadi Khaled and Akroum areas hosting displaced families due to the Syrian crisis, Akkar, Northern Lebanon.   In the frame of this project, Mada is aimimg to build the capacity of its staff and  is seeking for a certified English teacher to give English sessions late in the afternoon (4.30), two sessions a week.     KEY RESONSABILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES   -  Assess the staff level in English -  Prepare an appropriate program for identified level -  Prepare course material -  Elaborate tools to evaluate the progress of participants   POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED   -  Minimum of undergraduate degree in English language -  Minimum 2 years classroom experience -  Able to use word processing, spread sheet, presentation and other productivity software -  Excellent communication and writing skills in Arabic and English -  Present effectively to groups -  Acknowledged as a good listener GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION Qobayat, Akkar, North Lebanon MISSION DURATION 2 Months starting by February 2014   Submission guidelines: Interested applicants for this position must submit current curriculum vitae (CV) and the names and coordinates of three references.
