Assesses the needs and priorities of the targeted beneficiaries and define suitable activities based on participatory approach
Contributes to the development of psychosocial and child protection program content
Contributes to the development of monitoring tools
Ensures the quality of the PSS/CP activities
Follows up on the implementation of the project, project tools and objectives
Coordinates and supervises the implementation of the DEALS training and follow up
Provides content based expertise to Field Officers and project staff
Provides awareness raising sessions to parents regarding issues including child well-being and communication, mental health, physical abuse, rehabilitation, social adjustment, child care, child rights, etc
Follow-up with trainers and children through the field officers
Organizes a monthly meeting with staff of each center
Identifies and organizes referrals and follow-up cases
Develop and/or adapt trainings and workshop related to psychosocial support
Provide training to WCH staff and partners in relation with PSS and capacity building
Maintain case history records and prepare short reports/data base of referred children
Conduct field visits
Conduct surveys and studies as requested
Any other tasks deemed needed by the project coordinator
Prepares monthly reports
Reports to the Emergency Project coordinator
Ensures activities are appropriate for the physical and mental capacity of children
Reports to the child protection focal point as soon as she/he suspect or observe or informed a child or children are at risk of abuse
