Engineering Consultant/consultancy – Water Supply Network

Oxfam GB wishes to engage to services of a professional engineering consultant or consultancy to assist in delivering a potable water network improvement scheme in Baalbek, Lebanon. Project is to run from mid-January until May 2014. The consultant should have the following qualifications and experience; BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or closely related subject. Membership of recognised professional engineering institute. Knowledge and experience relating to water supply networks. Experience of water network studies. Experience of producing engineering work construction drawings. Experience of contract tendering in Lebanon. Experience contractor supervision.   Role will include; Undertaking a water network supply study. Preparation of engineering drawings and documents related to pipeline construction project. Collaboration with relevant water municipality. Preparation of contract tender documents. Supervision of contractors throughout construction period. Preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings. Capacity building of staff with technical aspects of the project.
