Field Finance Officer

Job summary:  Under supervision of the Finance/ Admin Director, the officer will carry out field programme monitoring to ensure resources are being efficiently used, accounted for transparently, IMC structures exist and functioning in line with the policies, procedures and standards and train districts and other partners structures in financial management and record keeping to provide senior management with information for planning, control and decision making. Responsibilities: Plan and Carry out regular visits to Health Facilities to ensure their compliance to IMC’s internal financial guidelines Provision of technical financial support for the other functional departments including programmes, monitoring & Evaluation . Advice management on the field findings and actions to taken in relation to the recommendation. Analysis of variances and liaising with Monitoring & Evaluation and programmes teams as necessary Physical inspection to Primary Health care of fixed assets and ensuring the fixed asset register is updated every quarter. Reviewing, analyzing and processing financial reports from primary health care centers/clinics. Involving in daily, weekly and monthly inspection of patients and bills. Any other duties as defined by Line Manager and/or Senior Management team The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive Requirements: A degree in Finance At least three years working experience in related field Honesty and integrity An eye for detail, strong quantitative and excel skills Ability to use own initiative and to work with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work under pressure   Desirable: Experience with an international NGO
