The Education Field Coordinator is responsible for day to day management, supervision, administration and implementation of an Education project for an emergency response project in response to the Syrian crisis to be implemented in Schools
General Description of Role
Develop a program plan, ensure its smooth implementation, and manage the team’s performance of project tasks and activities
Manage the team and provide technical support, training and capacity building.
Track the progress of activities, ensure the collecting of program indicators and provide on-time internal status reports and external donor reports.
Identify and monitor risks, constraints or escalating issues, and inform the hierarchy accordingly.
Ensure that all data and information is updated, well organized and easily accessible; and that lessons learnt and best practice are capitalized.
Analyze and report on the evolving humanitarian needs and provide clear recommendations for interventions.
Participate in the development of new proposals

Main Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day logistics, administration, and personnel in accordance with organizational guidelines.
Participate in coordination meetings and share information with external stakeholders as appropriate
Design and manage a plan to monitor activities, outputs and impact and recommend adaptations to the programme as needed
Provide regular and reliable narrative and financial reports reflecting lessons learned
Manage the project team and ensure that activities are completed within the specified timeframe and to acceptable level of technical and programme quality
Develop appropriate training packages and modules to enhance the capacity of RI staff
Ensure that all activities are in line with relevant standards, codes of conduct, and humanitarian principles
Liaise with other organizations / entities engaged in similar activities and RI staff.
Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
Degree in social work, education, or related field.
At least five years experience in humanitarian relief, social work, education and management related position.
Experience of working in camp settings
Strong English writing skills required.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to think critically and creatively.
Excellent technical writing skills and ability to write technical reports.
Personal abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment. Must be flexible, willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours. Well organized and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to assess priorities and competently manage a variety of activities with a high level of accuracy.
Computer Skills: Strong Functional grip on MS-Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
