Monitoring & Evaluation (M&e) Assistant

The Lebanon Industrial Value Chain Development project (LIVCD) is recruiting a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Assistant. The M&E Assistant will assist the M&E Specialist in management of the M&E System. Specific responsibilities include: Conduct data collection and perform data entry.  Assist in providing M&E training to staff and partners as necessary. Assist in analysis of indicator results, and in providing feedback to project management indicating where project activities and interventions are falling short, meeting or exceeding the expected outputs, outcomes and impact. Assist in the preparation of quarterly Monitoring & Evaluation reports. Contribute to other written presentations in MS Word, Excel and/or Power Point formats. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree is required. Experience with research, including data collection and data management. Strong computer skills required. Successful candidates will have an excellent working knowledge of Excel, and have experience using database and data analysis software. Experience in the agriculture or agribusiness sector desired. Familiarity with Monitoring & Evaluation for USAID-funded projects desired. Excellent oral and writing skills in English and Arabic. This position is based in Zahle. Regular travel throughout Lebanon is required.
