Project Coordinator

Job Purpose: The Project Coordinator is responsible for organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager.   Job Responsibilities: Attend weekly meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members. Track the progress and quality of work being performed by acitivities' coordinators. Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures. Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the Project Manager and project team. Work closely with Logistics Officer for obtaining best price offers. Assist the Project Manager in the review of price quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval. Keep the Project Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact stakeholder relations. Process employees' payroll and benefits in close coordination with Project Manager. File all project documents (hard and soft copies)   Job Requirements: 3 to 5 years experience with NGOs. A Bachelor's degree in the area of social sciences or a related field. Effective communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment  Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities  Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
