In the frame of the activities of the project “Psychosocial Support to Youth and Families in Syria and Neighboring Countries” under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) in Beirut, the direct supervision of the Psychosocial Program Manager and program coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible to:
In particular, he/she will:
Liaise with the administration and finance department for all related aspects of the program activities, including preparing purchase requisitions, vendors’ invoices, and vendor creation procedures.
Conduct bi-weekly budget monitoring, allocating expenses to its related cost centers and chart account, including planned costs and committed costs.
Support the maintenance of project documentation and information, including the preparation of Arabic and English translations of documents;
Ensure that confidentiality and the right to privacy is maintained with regard to confidential information;
In accordance with structured reporting requirements and informal reporting needs, prepare clear and concise reports of all activities undertaken;
Ensure that hardcopy and electronic information systems are maintained, particularly the important notes of all key monitoring, implementation and coordination activities;
Liaise with the procurement and logistic department for all related aspects of the program activities.
Participate in the continuous monitoring and evaluation of the program and in the logistical elaboration of the programmatic phases of intervention.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the PM and CoM.

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration with relevant psychosocial knowledge.
2. Experience working within international development and local NGO sector is desirable.
3. Experience working or liaising with government or civil authorities is desirable.
4. Strong organizational skills, a proven ability to establish priorities and plans, and an ability to work independently, and show leadership and initiative within a team environment are necessary.
5. Strong familiarity with MSOffice applications.
6. Experience in communicating and working with a wide range of people including people of culturally diverse backgrounds.
