Finance, Human Resource & Administration Manager (re-advertised)   Solidar Suisse is a Swiss non-governmental organisation (NGO) which assists disadvantaged, persecuted and oppressed people in Switzerland and abroad with material support and by helping them to help themselves. Solidar Suisse, established in 1936, works for social justice and fights against exclusion and the division of society. Solidar Suisse has been operating in Lebanon since September 2012 implementing programs in Food Security, Non Food Item distribution and emergency response. The organization is currently providing support to Syrian refugees and poor Lebanese families in Nabatieh, Saida and Jezzine Districts out of its office in Nabatieh. Solidar Suisse is seeking a suitably qualified Finance, Human Resource and Administration Manager, with a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience, to join its dynamic new team in Nabatieh. This important and exciting position is part of Solidar Suisse’s Lebanon Senior Management Team and will subsequently contribute to the strategic direction of the organization in Lebanon.   Primary responsibilities:   Under the direction of the Solidar Suisse Lebanon Country Representative, take a leadership role in financial planning, analysis, monitoring and management, human resource management, and office administration for Solidar Suisse’s operations in Lebanon.    Establish, maintain and monitor financial management systems, procedures and controls ensuring these are compliant with Solidar Suisse, donor and Government of Lebanon requirements. This includes ensuring entries into the Solidar Suisse accounting system (Banana) are accurate and up-to-date.   Prepare high quality and timely financial reports, including budget narratives and analysis, for internal and external audiences.   Ensure financial, HR and administrative records and filing are comprehensive, accurate, secure and up-to-date. This includes, but is not limited to, all financial plans, budgets, contracts, agreements and key correspondence.  Support the Country Representative in ensuring Solidar Suisse fulfills all its obligations to operate in Lebanon.  Ensure all Solidar Suisse staff have valid and current contracts and that any issues or concerns raised by Solidar staff are addressed in an effective, transparent and timely manner.  Lead on the recruitment of Solidar Suisse positions in Lebanon.   Coordinate closely with the project and logistic departments to provide support and guidance on finance and staffing issues.   Actively participate in internal Senior Management Team meetings, providing input on finance, HR and administrative issues, and represent Solidar Suisse Lebanon to external audiences as required.   Undertake any other tasks as requested by the Country Representative.   Required Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:   Degree in accounting, financial management or business management/administration or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant progressive experience;   Experience in a public, NGO or private sector management position which involved financial analysis, cost accounting and administrative functions;  Extensive experience in the development, utilization and analysis of financial management and monitoring templates and tools as well as exceptional excel computer skills;  Prior experience in humanitarian and/or development grant management and donor requirements considered an asset;  Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and set deadlines for both themselves and others.  Experience overseeing human resource management for an organization with over ten (10) permanent employees;   A supportive and competent manager with experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team;  Flexible, adaptable and results-driven;  Understanding of and commitment to the objectives of Solidar Suisse’s activities in Lebanon; Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic
