Scope of responsibilities
Ensure midwifery care, treatment and follow-up of patients and/or a population in accordance with doctors’ prescriptions, MSF protocols, respect of universal hygiene standards and according to context.
Ensure patient registration and data collection.
Ensure good pharmacy management.
Recruitment criteria
Education:
Midwife degree/diploma recognised by National Authorities
Experience:
2 years midwifery experience desired (the experience in dispensaries , hospitals and NGOs is a strong asset)
Languages:

Function responsibilities
Patient care
Monitoring and examination of women during pregnancy
Providing full antenatal care, including screening test, post natal care and family planning
Identify high risk pregnancies and making referral to the doctors
Arranging and providing parenting and health education for the woman, her partner and family
Providing counselling and advice before and after screening
Instruct on how to deliver daily care for the baby, including breast feeding, bathing
Perform case management including delivering medications and providing relevant explainations to the patients
Responsible for data collection follow-up: morbidity, drug consumption, compilation.
Make sure all material and equipment are ready for daily activities.
Manage efficiently the pharmacy and medical equipment: drugs orders, follow-up of the stock, storage conditions, and inventories, follow-up of expired drugs.
Responsible for management of non-medical stock in the mobile clinic (medical forms, stationary, etc…)
Participate actively in the monitoring and the reporting of medical activities (correctly fill in patient files, forms, statistics, reports)
Ensure a relevant transfer of information
Report immediately to the technical referent any problem arising during the mobile clinic, especially the loss/ robbery/damage of medical equipment or medicines.
