Self-Care Psychotherapist (4 Positions - Beirut , Bekaa, North And South)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Attend training on self-Care for caregivers. Provide group psychotherapy sessions to caregivers, PHCs providers, outreach workers and so on. Provide individual psychotherapy sessions to members of the group therapy session based on their demand. Provide psychosocial support – groups and individuals – to staff working with conflict affected persons. Work directly with the IMC MH consultant to develop intervention plans and follow up at the home level. Provide regular feedback to the IMC MH consultant and MH coordinator regarding the follow up of the sessions, interaction of participants and progress of therapy sessions. Complete intake assessments, evaluations, treatment recommendations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary. Keep track of sessions – individual and group through a special attendance sheets and reporting format developed for this purpose. Make necessary and timely referrals when necessary. Attend bimonthly coordination meetings IMC MH consultant and MH coordinator. Deliverables: Submit outpatient records at the end of each month. Submit attendance sheets covering the executed number of hours worked. Submit reports documenting the group therapy sessions and the progress of work. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. Finalized or in the process of finalizing training on psychotherapy – integrative approach is a preference. Possess substantive work experience with NGOs, which is an essential requirement to understand the multi-layered dynamics and stress factors in an emergency and within NGOs unless they have previous experience on the field. Fluent in spoken Arabic and good knowledge of English language. Previous NGO experience is a plus. Personal interest in educational and mental health issues. Good communication and teamwork skills.
