Programme Administrator

Title of project: Strengthening Protection for refugee Syrian children and their caregivers through activities building up their resilience. Within the framework of the initiatives promoted in North Bekaa and Mount Lebanon to support the resilience and well‐being of children affected by Syrian crisis through community based, structured activities conducted in a safe, child friendly and stimulating environment, funded by UNICEF, TdH-It is looking for a Programme administrator to join our team in order to support the project activities carried out. Main tasks and responsibilities: Prepare invitation to bid, request for quotation, purchase requests, purchase orders, payment requests to ensure compliance with UNHCR procurement guidelines and project budgets. Make sure that all supporting documentation is prepared and filed according to donor and TdH-It procedures. Manage and update TDH-It accounting system on daily basis. Weekly reconcile cash and bank accounts. Preparing, checking and filing of the related financial and administrative project documents: invoices, payment vouchers, bank documents, providers’ and staff contracts etc. Ensure monthly payments to service providers, staff payroll and partner. Assist the Program/Project Manager in responding to audit inquiries and requests for financial information. Timely identify, inform and discuss any issues with the Program/Project Manager. To work closely and effectively with TDH-It Lebanon staff. Represent TDH-It in multi agency and overall interagency meetings when appropriate. Other duties as assigned. Experience required: University degree in economics, finance, administration, or other related field; Three (3) years of relevant experience and technical work in the sectors of administration and  finance (experience in emergency project will be an asset) Good knowledge of UN and INGOs procedures Experience and knowledge of effective financial and budgetary control and managing grants Ability to work under pressure Strong communication (fluency in Arabic and English necessary) and organizational skills Strong Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) and knowledge of accountancy software
