RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Quality
Organize structured PSS activities in the center
Facilitate and co-facilitate trainings in the communities and to staff, and volunteers or PSS and Child Protection
Provide technical support to the field associates and when needed organize PSS activities in the community
Participate in the organization of events and awareness campaigns
Any other CP activity as required
Other
Consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams; promptly reporting concerns or incidents to IRC management and liaising with community leaders and other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment for IRC programs
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs
Professional Standards
All IRC staff are required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in working with children and organizing activities
Working experience in NGO a plus
Experience in running Psychosoial program a plus
Experience in conducting trainings
Minimum of 3 years working experience
Demonstrated understanding of working with children and particularly vulnerable children
Personal qualities: Team player, flexible, network-builder, able to handle pressure, enjoying working in the field
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, English speaking is a plus
Travel and other requirements: Staff will be based in either the North or Mont Lebanon Governorates, with some travel required between the governorates and the main IRC office in Beirut.
