Project Name: Integrated WASH and Protection Response in Lebanon Project Description: The overall goal of the project is to reduce the suffering of those affected by the Syria Crisis in Lebanon and contribute to meet their basic needs.  The project will target 6,250 people (1,250 households) vulnerable Syrian refugees and Lebanese hosting communities in Tabbaneh, Kobbeh and Abou Samra and reduce vulnerability through improved access to water, sanitation, hygiene, protection and winterisation services in North Governorate, Lebanon. Households will have access to safe water through the provision of water trucking and the improvement of water storage and water supply points. They will have access to adequate sanitation through the construction/rehabilitation of facilities and distribution of sanitation cleaning kits. Moreover, they will have improved hygiene through public health promotion and the distribution of NFI through in-kind or voucher modality, improved access to information and referral mechanisms for relevant assistance services, and will be prepared for winter through provision of winterisation support. Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to manage a specific team and/ or project and to provide specialist advice and/ or support to deliver an efficient, cost-effective and quality service Job Responsibilities: Manages people, assets, budgets, projects or processes. Monitors performance of team or external contacts and gives advice / guidance to managers in a specialist area. Responsible and accountable for ensuring that logistics activity in Oxfam is carried out in accordance with the authority of the Logistics, Purchasing and Supply Procedures Manual and the Oxfam Logistics Policy and in accordance with local laws Maintaining Oxfam assets including the recording of assets; disposal of assets; reporting any asset movement, loss or damage Management of Procurement and Supply Management of Storage Management Management of Vehicle Management Management of Information and Reporting Line Management Support and Development of Staff Any task reasonably assigned to you by your line manager or designated person Job Skills: Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own and others' work Able to communicate instructions and objectives clearly Keeps abreast of internal and external events that may influence role Anticipates outcome of activities and uses initiative to achieve targets Actively promotes high standards and continuous improvement Continually seeks out most efficient use of resources Pro-actively adapts and improves standards and working practices Able to advise and train on specialist skills to other departments / teams Written and oral Arabic and English Proven ability to organise work effectively and supporting others Computer literate, including word processing, databases/ spreadsheet use Previous experience in Logistics Financial management ability.
