Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions, for its Lebanon Country Office, in the following locations Beirut, Tripoli, Akkar and Bekaa:

2. Development and implementation of Child Friendly Spaces activities
In collaboration with the Child Protection Manager and Child Protection Coordinator, will design a strategy, priorities and a detailed work plan in the Child Friendly Spaces.
Monitor the assistant’s work, supporting them and providing monthly and weekly reports to the Child Protection Coordinator.
Design and implement the Child Friendly Spaces activities, this can be with the support of external consultants and will be implemented by animators.
Coordinate with the PSS officer and ECD officer
Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant community structures and leaders
Supervise and manage the performance of all assistant and animators working in the CFSs
Support and coach Animators in management of CFS activities and the development of quality children’s activities in the CFS
Ensure quality and minimum protection standards are implemented and respected in all sites, including ensuring all animators and community volunteers have signed and understood the Child Safeguarding policy
Ensure that CFS materials are ordered and delivered to the sites in a timely manner
Organize monthly meetings with Animators and Volunteers, to share lessons learned and exchange experiences
Establishing and maintaining a weekly and monthly work plan which will include monitoring visits to the CFS activities on a weekly basis
Write weekly and monthly reports
Ensure the collection of quality data
Share information on field-level successes and challenges with the CP Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in teaching, social work or social sciences
Extensive work experience of working directly with young children
Experience of having worked in NGOs
Excellent communication skills with children aged between 4 and 14
Experience in project management and supervision of staff
Ability to write weekly and monthly reports
Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles including rights-based approaches
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, and either English or French
