Lead the team of Social workers and ensure that data collected from beneficiaries is appropriate and true. He also should organize and lead needs assessments. Organize and manage the file folders of the beneficiaries both electronically and in hard copies. Along with the technical team and Shelter coordinator, design and implement a work plan for the projects activities.
Key Responsibilities
To lead the Social workers team under close supervision from the FC.
To act as an assistant to the FC on all communications with beneficiaries and other stakeholders
To perform registration and evaluation works in the most professional manner possible.
To act respectfully and guide the house owners to give a clear and true picture of the household’s current and past situation.
To explain all beneficiaries and those who did not fall within the project criteria the NRC selection criteria.
To guarantee that all beneficiaries sign all the appropriate documentation for their contracts and subsequent payments and ensure that they have not been registered by any other shelter partner for the same benefits.
To organize and manage the beneficiaries file folders and make sure that all necessary documents are in place.
To act as database focal point. He/she is responsible of putting all beneficiaries lists (Hardcopies and Softcopies) are in place.
To check the beneficiaries’ records so he makes sure that there is no duplication.
To organize and lead conducting of surveys, questionnaires or assessments as per required.
To submit to the FC daily and weekly reports on the activities and action points.
To coordinate with different NRC staff at the field level in planning and performing programs activities (TFO, CCL, and other relevant staff).
To ensure and promote efficient and cost-effective use of NRC’s assets and resources in order to maximize funding to beneficiaries
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Coordinate with local authorities, with the TFC
Organize social assessments of families, in coordination with the TFC
Participate in the design of social tools
Maintain beneficiary files
Act as the social focal point between the technical team, PC, and SFAs
Plan the daily and weekly activities of SFAs in relation to:
Conducting assessments
Creation of beneficiary lists
Creation and maintenance of relevant databases
Response to and follow up of referred cases
Exit interviews
Management of assigned case-loads, including keeping up-to-date records of numbers of families and individuals residing in shelters
Provide regular reports relating to analysis of assessment findings, as well as progress and situation reports
Systematically follow up on referrals and troublesome cases
Prepare weekly reports to be shared with PC and FM
Supervise the preparation of beneficiary contracts
Plan the distribution of NFIs in coordination with the PC and logistics staff
Supervisees:
The SFO supervise the work of the SFAs
Qualifications and Competences
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Ordinary National Diploma in Social work or other relevant field
Relevant Experience
Minimum of 3 year of relevant work experience in a busy organization.

Good cultural awareness and sensitivity
Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential
Very Good English Language level
Knowledge of the NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector is a plus
Solid experience in assessment methodologies.
Excellent communicational and report writing skills (oral and written).
Strong computer experience (Word, Excel, Power point).
