Development Director

General Duties Communications - Be the public image of Marsa and its community with TV, radio and other press - Develop publications - Create and maintain newsletter - Prepare and give presentations   Fundraising - Create informational dossiers to present to donors - Enhance Marsa’s profile for corporate sponsorships - Collaborate with board and administration to develop fundraising strategy and set fundraising targets - Suggest fundraising ideas and put them into action with team - Identify and research potential funding opportunities and donors - Organize and oversee events and campaigns - Maintain and follow up on relationships with supporters and partners - Look for sponsors for specific events - Build on existing sources of funding - Write grant proposals and reports - Provide minutes for donor meetings   Skills - Excellent networking skills - Ability to work closely and generously with colleagues - Capacity for initiative and long-term planning - Experience in fundraising (preferably 2 years or more) - Good command of English and Arabic, French is advised - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word and Powerpoint)
