  Vacancies Announcement Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need around the world. Save the Children currently implements programs in Child Protection, Education, CRC and Emergency Response throughout Lebanon. Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions, on 2.5 months contracts, with possible extension, for its Lebanon Country Office, in the following locations Beirut, Bekaa and Kubayyat: Health and Nutrition Officer – (location: Beirut, Beqaa, Qubayyat )  As part of Health and Nutrition team, the Officer will be responsible for the realization of the Emergency Health and Nutrition project in the field. Responsibilities may include participation in technical assessments, collection of health and nutrition data, facilitate and carry out implementation activities, monitoring, documentation and reporting of the project, as well as supervision of other health staff and community health workers, contributing to overall health and nutrition program, its appropriateness and quality. Job Requirements: Degree in health    Minimum 2 years experience in health or nutrition, preferably in public health/ reproductive health /maternal and child health care Experience in assessments, training and project management  Excellent report writing and communication skills (both verbal and written) APPLICATION PROCESS   Please note that the closing date for applications is Oct 24th.   The selection committee will review all applications as they are received.
