Ref: Data collector Survey LB ZH HAI/HI Project: HAI/HI Survey LB   GLOBAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION Ensure good standard data collection at community level with regard to the syrian refugee population in the community, and more particularly the persons presenting with specific vulnerability, in the frame of Handicap International and HelpAge survey.   HIERARCHICAL RELATIONSHIPS Line manager 1: Handicap International & HelpAge Survey Coordinator Line manager 2: Handicap International Emergency Head of Mission Team Managed: None   BACKGROUND Handicap International (HI) and HelpAge International (HAI) are conducting a regional survey aimed to evaluate the condition of refugee Syrian population, and more particularly the one being affected by specific determinants of vulnerability, and to evaluate the profile and specific needs of this population. HI and HAI are therefore seeking for data collectors for services provision during 1 weeks based in Zahle.   TASKS DESCRIPTION Based in Zahle, with daily movements on the field in North Bekaa, West Bekaa and Central Bekaa, under the direct responsibility of Handicap International & HelpAge Survey Coordinator, you will have to:   1 Identify Syrian refugees in various areas : In close collaboration with Handicap International & HelpAge Survey Coordinator, identify and assess Syrian refugees and their entire families Among them, identify persons presenting particular vulnerabilities and assess their specific needs   2 Follow the questionnaire frame and ensure quality of the data collected Establish with the persons and families a good and respectful contact in order to ensure the quality of interviews Ensure that all data collected are correct and complete   3 Report datas and participate to weekly activities organization Ensure a daily quantitative and qualitative reporting through the tools (assessment form, reporting sheets) in close collaboration with the database operator Participate to the daily briefing and debriefing sessions and to the organization of the weekly plan with the teams, under Handicap International & HelpAge Survey Coordinator supervision Report any issues encountered Any other reports or exchanges to be ensured upon line manager request   4 Ensure confidentiality of the data management and demonstrate an ethic and professional practice: Respect the total confidentiality of the data collected Ensure to never speak about data out of the survey project Ensure security of the records and files Respect and promote Handicap International and HelpAge’s Policies and report to your line manager any non respect of HI’s policies amongst the teams or partners. Address needs and requests in a professional way. Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others. Always interact with children with the presence of their parents or caregivers Always respect a refusal of assessment.   Note that this job description must remain flexible, to respond to additional tasks or changes as identified by the line manager.     TIME SCHEDULE The working hours are the following: 7:45 am – 5:00 pm - full time, from Monday to Friday
