Application Developer

Key deliverables: Work with the development teams to understand and determine application requirements and develop applications to specification. Write code (stored procedures, triggers, database scripts) to implement business logic and database maintenance. Develop software for the purpose of data conversion, interfaces, custom reports and forms. Develop in-house application. Create required reports in response to business user needs and various applications. Conduct research and make recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts. Provide guidance and instruction to development staff on best practices/techniques. Maintain technical documentation for all development tasks Report to the Software Project Manager   Requirements of the successful candidate: Expertise in Oracle development (Oracle Forms & Reports). Expertise with Java, SQL and PL/SQL. Expertise in C Sharp. Understand system development life cycle processes. Government project development experience is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field. Oracle Certified Professional or Dot net certification. 3 + years of application development experience.
