Job Purpose Summary
To carry out the daily finance and admin functions of the Emergency Shelter team
Key Responsibilities
Finance
To prepare and issue payments to beneficiaries, contractors and daily labourers in the office and on site
To record transactions against the appropriate budget lines and as per NRC procedures
To manage the cash box, handle cheques and prepare documentation for cash transfer service providers
To implement NRC anti-corruption regulations
Admin
To distribute memos and announcements to the Emergency Shelter team
To provide administrative support at internal and external meetings
To support with printing, translation etc
HR
To act as HR focal point for Emergency Shelter team
To support administration of national staff working hours (leave requests etc)
To send updated staff list to Beirut HR
To support the recruitment of new staff
General
Administer the issuance of NRC assets to the Emergency Shelter team
Any other duties as requested

Qualifications and Competences
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Ordinary National BA in a relevant field
Relevant Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a busy organization
Knowledge, Skills & Personal Attributes
Good computer skills, especially Excel
High level of personal organization, and ability to prioritise tasks
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and team working skills
Good cultural awareness and sensitivity
Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential
Very Good English Language level (Business English is a plus)
Knowledge of the NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector is a plus
