Training Coordinator

Job Profile/ Description Job Title Training coordinator Department/Project Program Direct Supervisor Program manager     1.Job Purpose: To coordinate the design, implementation and evaluation of all training activities that target LADE’s volunteers. 2. Dimensions: Budget: Project Budget                                   No of Subordinates: 2  Contract: yes 3. Key Result Areas: a.      Developing the capacity of LADE to train volunteers: -          Produces an action plan to assess & develop the capacities of volunteers. -          Establishes and manages a pool of qualified trainers. -          Develops and uses capacity assessment & training needs assessment tools to identify the needs of LADE’s volunteers. -          Establish and manage a training resource corner at LADE. -          Contributes to the development of training modules. -          Designs and implements TOT sessions.   b.      Assessing & developing the capacities of LADE’s volunteers: -          Arranges trainees in groups as per training needs and/or geographical location. -          Designs training activities and develops learning objectives and schedules. -          Implements and evaluates training activities that responds to the identified needs. -          Ensures that the needed logistical support is provided to the training activities. -          Establishes & maintains a Trainees’ data base.   c.       Assisting in the management of the program department: -          Contribute to the development of the program’s yearly action plan -          Supervises supports and ensures the quality of the performance of the training officers. -          Assists the program manager in dealing with human resources issues -          Produces and sends weekly/monthly progress narrative and financial reports or any other reports if required to the program manger. -          Coordinates with the heads of sections at the program department. -            4. Minimum Qualifications: Education BA degree in political studies, management or related fields. Good command of English, and Arabic ,French is an asset.   Experience At least 3 years of experience in the design & implementation of training activities of which at least one year in a supervisory position. Good knowledge of NGO work & of the Lebanese electoral law.   Computer Capable of using main computer applications (Microsoft Office Application…).   Skills and personal traits Very good leadership & communication skills. Very good training skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to commute all over Lebanon. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
