Public Health Educator

EssentialQualifications: A Masters in Public Health, preferably in Health Promotion & Community Health Good command of SPSS, data analysis and reportingExcellent command of English and ArabicWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email. Role Summary: The post holder will contribute to the achievement of the aims and objectives of health promotion interventions under various ANERA Lebanon projects  through: -          Provision of efficient support to the Project Manager -          Design and provide training activities on pertinent health issues and desirable practices, -          Develop health informational tools -          Coordinate and guide community-based activities that address pertinent health issues   Key Responsibilities and tasks: In consultation with the Project Management He / She will facilitate to build a sound, good and close relation with stakeholders involved in the project implementation at  local level in particular, in the project target locations and with other NGOs working on the field. In consultation with the Project Management He / She will, on the basis of the project requirements, supervise and guide local partner organization staff in the implementation of health promotion activities. Facilitate the relations with local partners Assess activities and ensure efficient use of human and financial resources; Guide, assess and analyse health promotion services provided by the local partners. In consultation with the project management elaborate the necessary logistic planning and arrangements for the execution of the planned activities In consultation with the project management design and organize training activities targeting local community members and/or local partner staff. Collect monitoring data and provide relevant analytical reports. Reporting expenses in accordance with ANERA Lebanon Procedures Keep an updated work time sheet and submit at the end of each month QUALIFICATIONS  Essential A Masters in Public Health, preferably in Health Promotion & Community Health Good command of SPSS, data analysis and reportingExcellent command of English and ArabicWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.   Desirable Driving skills   EXPERIENCE  1-2 years of experience in community-centered health promotion, and health messaging.   SKILLS AND ABILITIES   -          Excellent interpersonal skills -          High level of competence in communicating information both verbally and electronically -          Ability to prioritise own workload -          Excellent problem solving and decision making skills -          Sound organisational skills
