Scope of responsibilities: At project level, the Head of medical activity is responsible for: Implementing, supervising and reporting the project medical activities (project cycle). Medical/Paramedical/Social/Promotion Teams management. Monitor the programme through data analysis and direct supervision, exchange of medical information with the team and medical coordinator. Report data and data analysis to the hierarchical through regular reports.        Put in perspective difficulties encountered and context of the project. Plan the need in mental health activities, coordinate and ensure a good course of those activities in accordance MSF medical policies, evaluate these activities Ensure that the Psychiatrists are prescribing according to MSF guidelines Ensure that Primary Health Care (PHC) component of the program is running according to Plan of Action and in accordance with MSF protocol. Ensure staff health (including staff mental health): application of the national staff health policy and support Ensure that the pharmacy storekeeper of the pharmacy in the project is carrying out monthly inventories, register on the stock cards and follow up the consumption Plan the need in activities, coordinate and ensure a good course of those activities in accordance MSF medical policies, evaluate these activities Ensure or coordinate all administrative tasks related to patients (exit-paper, transfer-paper …etc)   Manage the medical team of the project: Supervise the multidisciplinary team working in the mental health project: psychiatrists, psychotherapists, social workers and database responsible as well as the community team.   Supervise the team working in PHC project (GP, Nurse, Nurse assistant) Carry out individual briefings/debriefings, follow-up, individual evaluation, technical evaluation, needs for training. Carry out coaching to the team when required and playing a role in HR conflict-resolution                Ensure close supervision and follow-up of the activities performed in the community by                health promoters and community health workers Supervise efficiently the pharmacy and medical equipment management: drugs orders, follow-up of the stock, storage conditions, inventories, follow-up of expired drugs and their destruction, drugs consumption related to his part of the project Participate in the development of the plan of action Actively monitor and report medical activities (correctly fill in patient files, forms, statistics, reports) and analyse these statistics.

•Recognized medical doctor or Nurse with a recognized diploma/degree (plus inscription to the national register of the country of the mission, if there is one)
•Psychiatrist or Psychiatrist Nurse is a preferred profile
Experience:
•At least 6 months prior experience in Mental Health Programs with MSF or other NGOs, preferably in similar settings and contexts
•Basic epidemiological background
•Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point, internet)
