Accountant

Job Purpose: Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; and preparing reports. Job Responsibilities: - Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. - Document financial transactions by entering accont information. - Summarize current financial status by collecting information; prepare balance sheet, cashflow statement, and other reports. - Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. - Reconcile financial discrepances by collecting and analyzing account information. - Secure financial information by completing database backups. - Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements. - Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarzing account information and trends. - Maintain organization confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. - Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops. - Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Skills & Qualifications: Familiar with accounting software, deadline-oriented, confidentiality, data entry management, ability to work in a team.
