Solid Waste Collection Supervisor

I. Assignment Garbage Collection Supervisor is responsible to supervise the team to ensure the garbage collection and cleaning of the area is done appropriately. II. Responsible for: Managing, supervising and Following garbage collection as per program guidelines; Maintaining proper record of garbage collection documents Management of staff and CFW labours III. Functions: To manage, supervise the solid waste management/dislodging  through Cash for Work or contractors; Provide daily report on volume of solid waste collected or dumped; Supervise the dislodging and waste management in area of intervention; Maintain Cash for Work records, attendance sheets and Cash for work agreements; Maintain contractors  records, coordinate with beneficiaries and contractor to plan field dislodging activities regularly followed; Ensure that the garbage bins are placed appropriately and use properly by beneficiaries; Ensure that CFW, tools and equipments and garbage bins  are in working condition and available on site; Arrange daily briefing of staff and assign them based on the plan and need in each location agreed by Program Manager; Ensure the Cash for Work supervisors and workers safety as well as well as environments tidiness; Ensure workers and supervisors use ACTED visibility during work in the field;
