Senior Field Assistant - Prt036 - G5 (Unops Contract)

1. Monitor the programs that are being implemented by partner organizations and ensure that implementation is done in accordance with sub-project agreements and UNHCR's program rules. 2. Meet authorized personnel at designated field locations, travels with them and serves as a guide; 3. Act as interpreter in the exchange of routine information, contributes to related liaison activities and responds directly to routine queries 4. Collects data and other information on development and subject-matter activities of the area 5. Follow-up on regular basis the overall situation in refugee settlements and other areas where refugees have been accommodated 6. In co-ordination with the local authorities, monitor the implementation of UNHCR assistance in refugee settlements and assist local implementing partners in matters pertaining to the wellbeing of refugees; 7. Assist supervisor in planning, formulating, and evaluating projects 8. Perform other duties as required.
