Supply Chain Assistant

The Supply Chain  assistant assist  the Supply Chain Manager in identifying, securing, and preparing sub-office and program locations in the Northern and Beka’a Governorates, specifically Qobayat (with centers in Halba and Wadi Khaled) and Zahle (with women’s community centers in Arsaal and central/Bar Elias).  Procurement of office and program supplies will also form an important part of this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in preparing and securing sub-offices, staff housing, and locations for the planned Women and Girls’ Community Centers in each program location Assist in procurement and distribution of supplies and materials Conduct occasional visits to oversee repair work and other services as needed Procure program and office supplies in line with IRC rules and regulations Assist in distribution coordination and manage daily workers. Manage transports, follow planning and check vehicle fuel consumption. • Interest in humanitarian and refugee issues
• Experience in logistics, procurement, or related field. Familiarity with procurement and rental markets in the project locations strongly desired.
• Strong ability to prioritize work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility. Energetic, with great networking and communication skills.
• Languages: Fluency in Arabic and ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English required. Proficiency in French desired, but not required.
• Access to a personal vehicle strongly preferred
• INGO experience preferred
