Mhpss Database Officer

-        Review of the current data collection mechanisms in order to set priorities in coordination with the IMC M&E officer and MH coordinator. -        Conduct regular visits to the field to oversee the work of MH program staff, identify challenges in terms of MH data collection and reporting. -        Review and analysis of the data collected and reported by the organization staff, as well as the current software used in the process. -        Design a new database interface (and secure web application) to help meet the organization's purposes. -        Performing regular maintenance and administration over the DB and any relevant applications. -        Provide training to the MH staff on the use of available software and hardware utilities in a more secure and efficient way. -        Backup/restore for the database and other crucial data and information, and design/application of a disaster recovery plan along with the organization's administration. -        Carrying out other IT related tasks and procedures and training whenever needed. -        Report directly to IMC Coordinator.   Deliverables: -        Develop, design and put into practice a MH comprehensive database. -        Maintain regular updates and troubleshooting   Qualifications: -        BS in Computer Science or any other relevant fields. -        BS or Masters Degree in Psychology or any MH fields. -        Finalized or in the process of finalizing training on psychotherapy. -        Fluent in spoken Arabic and English. -        Previous NGO experience is a plus. -        Personal interest in educational and mental health issues. -        Good communication skills. -        Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
