Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) is a non-profit, non-political and non religious humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity.   Today, PU-AMI is intervening in 21 countries in Africa, the Near East, Caucasus, Asia and the Caribbean to cover the needs of populations affected by conflict, natural disasters or economic crises.   PU-AMI in Lebanon has been implementing emergency and recovery projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, in Shelter Rehabilitation, Health and in Livelihood Recovery sectors.   POSITION GENERAL INFORMATION   Position: Driver Based in: Beirut   Supervision   Under the direct supervision of:       Head of Drivers Under the indirect supervision of:   Logistics Manager Supervision of  :                                                 / Under the overall supervision of:     Field Coordinator     OVERALL MISSION   General objective Under the direct supervision of the head of drivers, the Driver has to ensure the daily transportation of PU-AMI staff and goods, following the established schedules, as well as the maintenance and safety of PU-AMI vehicles. Responsibilities and tasks   Transportation -       To drive PU-AMI staff, or other staff to any place for professional purpose only and ensure the safety of all passengers -       To drive PU-AMI materials and equipements for professional purpose only and help for the loading and unloading of the vehicle -       To park the vehicles in accordance with PU-AMI safety rules       Maintenance -       To ensure the checking of the car fleet (log book, usual checking…) in coordination with the Fleet Officer. -       To check all the documents of the vehicles and their validity. -       To ensure maintenance of the car fleet: fuel, cleaning, checking and repairs. -       To fill in the log book for every movement according to PU-AMI rules. -       To help maintaining up the premises   Security -       To share security information with the Logistics Manager & the Security Manager in the base   -       To make sure all his/her passengers put on their security belt. -       To follow PU-AMI driving rules and regulations. -       To understand and obey traffic law and regulations   Support -       To help with any task related to the activities/ or strcuture of the mission when requiered by his/her supervisor.     The tasks and responsabilities defined in this job description are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on the project needs.   QUALIFICATIONS   Mandatory requirements   Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic, (speaking/reading/writing), basic english. Work experience: Significant experience in driving Other  requirement -          Mechanical and electrical skills -          Knowledge of PU-AMI working  areas -          Valid driving license (2 year minimum)
