Water Supply Supervisor

I. Background ACTED (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development) is an international NGO founded in 1993 and headquartered in Paris. ACTED provides relief assistance to victims of conflict and vulnerable populations. Its activities range from emergency relief to development projects. In 2005, ACTED implemented more than 300 projects in 35 countries spread over Africa, Central Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.  II. Assignment Water Supply Supervisor is responsible to manage and supervise the potable water delivery and distribution to ACTED beneficiaries. He is responsible to record and maintain the water tracking/delivery properly and report the total daily quanitity to Program Manager on daily basis. III. Responsible for: Manage, supervise and Follow water tracking/supply as per program guidelines; Maintain proper record of water delivery and reporting documentation III. Functions: To manage, supervise the water tracking, distribution and records; Provide daily report of water distribution to beneficiaries; Ensure that water supply system is function properly and beneficiary receive water regularly as per their requirements; Do regular monitoring of the project to ensure Water trackers (contractor) delivery water equally and as per project requirements to beneficiaries; Control and check the quality and quantity of water delivery – ensure clean and  standard chlorinated water provided to beneficiaries; Ensure that water connection pipes, valve are functioning  and maintained well; Report any irregularities in water tracking or any damage of water network to Program Manager; Cross check water tracking vouchers, coupons vs water supply monitoring sheets to ensure both documents correspond;
