Data Entry Officer

General objective The Data Entry Officer has to ensure a correct and timely computerization of all data collected at field level by the project staff based in Saida.   Responsabilities and tasks     Collecting and entering data   -         To participate in the design of a database for the Needs Assessment Study -         To be the link in all data gathered in the field by the field officers -         To translate data from Arabic into English (if the need be) -         To support the Database Responsible with the basic data analysis in preparation of final reports -         To enter and manage data regarding all projects implemented in the area   Archiving -         To archive data files (Filled forms, Empty forms, …) -         To enforce the correct archiving of the documents   Reporting -         To report weekly about the achievements to the Database Responsible     QUALIFICATIONS   Mandatory requierements   Language Skills: Fluent in English and Arabic, (speaking/reading/writing). Education Degree: University degree or Technical diploma in a computer related field. Work experience: Experience in NGOs/private companies in IT. Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including very good knowledge of Excel and Access and Statistical analysis software (SPSS or equivalent)   Assets   Other  knowledge: Acquaintance with INGO' rules, procedures and regulations Interest: Work in relief Transversal skills -         Honest and trustworthy -         Reliable, rigorous and well organised -         Able to manage priorities, take initiatives and work without constant supervision
