Mobile Clinic Nurse

-Function responsibilities 1- Patient care: Know, apply and make sure universal hygiene standards and security rules are respected for medical premises. Ensure asepsis rules during all nursing cares. Ensure quality of the sterilization process. Responsible for Patient's card filling and registration in the correct tool. In the mobile clinic site, ensure the sorting and detect priority acute cases (triage) and manage the crowed. Screen all patients who come for consultation: taking the weight and when necessary the temperature. Assist consultation done by medical doctor. Organise and carry out care and treatments according to doctor’s prescription and MSF protocols (Injection, dressing, etc…) In case of emergency, carry out first aid care and treatment according to prior written protocol done by the doctor. Carry out when necessary a therapeutic education of the patient (and family) using a patient based approach.             Perform the case management including delivering the drug and explain all the instructions to the patients Preparation of drugs and medical equipment. Responsible for data collection follow-up: morbidity, drug consumption, compilation.  2- Management: Make sure all material and equipment are ready for daily activities. Train local nurse if available under the supervision of the hierarchical referent. Manage efficiently the pharmacy and medical equipment: drugs orders, follow-up of the stock, storage conditions, and inventories, follow-up of expired drugs. Responsible for management of non-medical stock in the mobile clinic (medical forms, stationary, etc…) 3- Monitoring, analysis and reporting: Participate in the development of the plan of action Participate actively in the monitoring and the reporting of medical activities (correctly fill in patient files, forms, statistics, reports) and propose analyse of these statistics. Ensure a relevant transfer of information Report immediately to the technical referent any problem arising during the mobile clinic, especially the loss/ robbery/damage of medical equipment or medicines.
