Human Resources Officer

Job Purpose Summary  To assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources (HR) functions of the NRC Lebanon, and to take care of the daily HR practicalities of the Beirut office. Key Responsibilities Update NRC Lebanon Staff list Closely work with Admin-HR Coordinator on NSSF for the staff (NSSF Focal point) Assist in representing NRC at the General Security, follow up Residency permits and visas for international staff Advertisement of national positions for NRC Lebanon (job postings, filing of related docs...) Receiving applications and help in screening along with Managers Assistant in conducting interviews for Beirut and field offices Issue and follow up Job Offers for new staff along with Admin-HR coordinator Assist in conducting Exit interviews for staff leaving NRC Issue HR related documents and lists for national staff Prepare and update checklist for all national and international staff including direct coordination with Logistics department Assist staff in roll-out and clarifying HR policies, procedures and standard NRC practices Contribute in the alignment and design of HR policies, processes and procedures Support in the implementation of staff induction, training and development programmers Provide administrative support for staff welfare programs/activities Fulfill any other related tasks that may be assigned by the FAM or the Country Director. Knowledge, Skills & Personal Attributes Good communication and interpersonalskills Strong organizational and team working skills Good cultural awareness and sensitivity Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential Very Good English Language level (Business English is a plus) Knowledge of the NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector is a plus A strong administrative service orientation Good individual counseling, conflict resolution and problem solving skills Good computer application skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database and network communications.      Ability to work independently whenever required   Achievement indicators                                                   Delivering working tasks in a structured, timely and professional manner Applying to the NRC standards, policies and guidelines Adapting and coping to change Communication with impact and respect High sense of confidentiality in applying the work Delivering services efficiently
