Food Security Field Officer

General objective   The Food Security Field Officer has to ensure and implement the vouchers distributions, food assistance project and impact assessment surveys activities on the field level.   Responsibilities and tasks   Ø Field contact -         To be in daily contact with the beneficiaries, listen to their needs and problems. -         To be in daily contact with the project manager. -         To assist the expatriate staff during the work meetings (translation). -         To ensure field level monitoring of the vouchers use and food purchases with the beneficiaries and the shops.     Ø Assesment and reporting -        To participate in the assessment and satisfaction survey. -        To report every day the problems to the project supervisor. -         To manage referral and follow up of special hardship cases  identified during the implementation of the project. -         To participate in the referral of refugees to the UNHCR registration process   Ø Implementation   -          To participate in the distribution on site -          To participate in the implementation of the project impact survey -         To implement a detailed (PRE/POST) assessment of each selected beneficiary need for food security and satisfaction.
