Accountability   UNHCR’s protection policies, standards and doctrine are consistently and coherently applied. The specific needs and protection issues facing persons of concern are identified in an accurate and timely manner. Persons of concern to UNHCR are assisted, treated with dignity, kept informed and encouraged to participate actively in matters relating to their protection.   Responsibility   Monitor the programs that are being implemented by partner organizations and ensure that implementation is done in accordance with sub-project agreements and UNHCR's program rules. Meet authorized personnel at designated field locations, travels with them and serves as a guide; Act as interpreter in the exchange of routine information, contributes to related liaison activities and responds directly to routine queries Collects data and other information on development and subject-matter activities of the area Follow-up on regular basis the overall situation in refugee settlements and other areas where refugees have been accommodated In co-ordination with the local authorities, monitor the implementation of UNHCR assistance in refugee settlements and assist local implementing partners in matters pertaining to the well-being of refugees; Assist supervisor in planning, formulating, and evaluating projects Perform other duties as required.   Authority   Identify the most appropriate course of action in view of particular vulnerabilities of persons of concern; Submit recommendations for protection and/or program related interventions to the Field Officer.
