The Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa (APJM) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization created in 2007 for the conservation of biodiversity and preservation of the cultural heritage in Jabal Moussa Mountain and surrounding villages which are part of the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve (JM BR) under UNESCO-MAB program since 2009. The Jabal Moussa mountain is located in the Caza of Kesrwan in the North of Mount Lebanon chain, and is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna species many of which are of high conservation value (endemic, rare, endangered etc.).
The Mission of APJM is the conservation of the natural and cultural heritage of Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve through participatory and adaptive management, and the sustainable development of the local communities through the creation of income generating and sustainable socio-economic activities.

The Intern will work in close cooperation with APJM management and staff and in particular will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support through keeping records and archive of APJM projects activities and pictures- Assisting the ecotourism manager in coordinating the visits to the Jabal Moussa BR: logistics, guides, guards, feedbacks, lunches; - Participating in the exhibitions aiming to promote Jabal Moussa in coordination with APJM staff members;- Following up on the production of communication materials and publications about Jabal Moussa in coordination with APJM staff members, designers and printing houses - Assiting the staff in supervising the production chain of "Jabal Moussa" local products, from source to sales and ensuring its successful implementation - Attending weekly APJM staff meetings
Duty station: APJM - Jounieh and Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve villages
Work schedule: He/She is required to work unconventional hours whenever there is a major activity. Flexibility is essential
