Shelter And Infrastructure Coordinator Assistant

General objective He/She has to provide technical support to the shelter team and Area Project Coordinator, in collaboration with the Shelter Infrastructure Coordinator (SIC).   Responsibilities and tasks Ø Task 1 (identification of Collective Shelters) -      To identify Collective shelter (buildings, schools, garages…) suitable to host Syrien refugees families, according UNHCR requirements. In Saida, Mt Lebanon, Beirut and Tripoli. -      To negociate with the owners of the collective shelters the rehabilitations works by PU-AMI  in exchange to host Syrian families without any rent fees for a certain period. -      To prepare with his/her supervisor the UNHCR Assessment form for collective shelter.   Ø Task 2 (works study and follow up) -      To do sketch of the collective shelters on site and drawings on Autocad. -      To prepare BOQ of rehabilitations works needed in coordination with the SIC. -      To follow the works implemented by contractors,including weekly site visit(masonery works, carpentery works, plumbing works…) -      To write minute of weekly site visit and provide detailed guidance to the contractors. -      To measure quantities implemented in order to validate the contractors invoices with the SIC.      Ø Task 3 (Assisst shelter team and Area Project Coordinator) -      To provide  technical assisstance to shelter team through the Area Project Coordinator (BOQ, plans, technical advices, works follow up). -      To Check the BOQ of individuall shelters done by the field offciers and average cost.  -      To follow the work plan prepared by the S-I-C with the Area Project Coordinator and report to his/her supervisor any delay or problems faced at base level. -      to involve in internal and external reporting and proposal making processes.   Ø Task 4 (Refer humanitarian needs found at field level) -      To refer to his/her supervisor humanitarian needs, especially shelters  and/or wash needs found at field level. -      the participation to humanitarian assessments launched by PU-AMI.     The tasks and responsabilities of the "Position Title" mentionned above are not thorough and may be subject to evolve depending on the needs PU-AMI may have.   Supervision   Ø Under the direct supervision of: Shelter Infrastrucure Coordinator Ø Direct supervision of: ………………………..                                        Ø Under the overall supervision of: Head of Mission
