Job Profile/ Description Job Title National elections monitoring coordinator Department/Project Program Direct Supervisor Program manager Job Classification Level 3   1. Job Purpose:  Coordinating the work of all LADE’s district coordinators and the monitors of the Lebanese Coalition for Elections Observation. 3. Key Result Areas: a.      Coordinating the elections monitoring operation: -          Supervises, supports and ensures the quality of the performance of the cazas coordinators -          Supports the recruitment coordinator in the following aspects: recruiting monitors and providing them with needed orientation establishing & maintaining a data base of the observers -          Coordinates with the training coordinator in organizing trainings -          Develops the deployment plan and deploys the monitors on the E-day   b.      Documenting and disseminating the findings of the monitoring operation: -          Collects the violations reports from the monitors -          Organizes the closing events in each Caza and on the central level to present the findings and results -          Organizes the stake holders’ conference to discuss the monitoring findings c.       Promoting & enhancing CLOE’s role in Pre-Election Monitoring and E-Day Observation: -          Expands CLOE’s membership -          Builds and maintains a good contact with all NGOs in the regions   d.      Assisting in the management of the program department: -          Contributes to the development of the program’s yearly action plan -          Assists the program manager in dealing with human resources issues -          Produces and sends weekly/monthly progress narrative and financial reports or any other reports if required to the program manger -          Coordinates with the project coordinators 4. Minimum Qualifications: Education BA degree in political studies, management or related fields. Good command of English, and Arabic ,French is an asset   Experience Background & expertise in NGO work. At least 3 years of experience in working with volunteers of which at least one year in a supervisory position. Knowledge of the Lebanese electoral system and at least 2 years of experience in elections monitoring (or have monitored at least 2 elections). Computer Capable of using main computer applications (Microsoft Office Applications…).   Skills and personal traits Very good leadership & communication skills. Very good organizational skills.
