Media Experts

“One Voice Can Change” project, funded through a grant from Middle East partnership Initiative (MEPI), aims to invest in the youths creativity and encourage them to use the power of media and new technologies to influence their peers and make valuable votes which count.  The project is emphasizing the role of youths in advocating for positive change and lobbying for a just cause. They will contribute by increasing the public awareness and empowering youth voters to become aware of their choice and believe in the power of people in making a change and use the democratic process to participate in the coming elections.   Media Experts Needed: Media experts mentor trained participants. Each trained participant will spend an entire day with one of the Media experts at his place of work. During this day, the consultant will dedicate some time to work with the trainee on his PSA, provide him with advises and recommendations. Trainee will also learn from the expertise of the Media expert while he observes him during his work and get involved. In total, each media expert will dedicate 3 to 4 days to mentor a different trainee per day.   Media Experts Profile: . Good facilitation, influencing, and persuasive skills with ability to build strong credible relationships and to communicate and transfer information to youth. . Good judgmental skills and attention to details especially to take part in the jury and vote for the winning participants. . Extensive working experience in media. . Interested in working with youth . Creativity in approaching youth and a dynamic personality to involve the youth in a quality learning experience. . Good social and communication skills . Preferably working in a prominent local TV Station.
