Social Worker

Under the direct supervision of the DVFP Project Manager , you will will ensure that the specific needs of people with disability/ vulnerability or at risk of disability are included in the humanitarian response to the Syrian crisis inNorthern Lebanon.   Your tasks will inlcude (amongst others): - to identify specific needs of the programme beneficiaries, contribute to the assessment of these needs and/or directly assess these needs as required - to answer to the identified needs, by providing direct support (donation of basic items) and refer internally and externally as needed, respecting confidentiality and the right of the beneficiary. - to develop and reinforce the relationships with INGO, LNGO, authorities, community focal points and any other stakeholders on the field to improve the identification system, with the support of DVFP PO - to report datas, follow-up cases and organize the daily and weekly activities - to demonstrate an ethic and professional practice   THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS (include various soft skills & language skills) -Arabic, speaking and writing -English, speaking and writing -French langage is a plus -Good adaptability -Experience working with persons with disabilities -Experience with NGO would be an asset -Excellent communication and interpesonnal skills -Good networking capacities -Strong capacity to interact with members of a multi-disciplinary team and different communities. -Strong ability to bring sensitisation messages into general use for the beneficiaries and care taker     Experience: At least 2 years of experience in related field.
