Position WASH Trainer (10 days) Location Tripoli, Lebanon About RI: Relief International (RI), an international relief and development agency with cross-sectoral programs bridging relief and development, currently seeks a WASH Trainer for RI’s emergency response programming in Lebanon. Position Summary: The WASH Trainer is responsible for recruiting and training Field Workers/Hygiene Promoters for an emergency WASH project to be implemented in the host communities of Tripoli and Beddawi, North Lebanon, in response to the Syrian crisis. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:  In coordination with the Program Manager, recruit Field Workers/Hygiene Promoters following open and transparent processes and procedures.  Train Hygiene Promoters on hygiene promotion and how to give community-based and door-to-door trainings.  Ensure Field Workers/Hygiene Promoters have supplies and information required.  Work with Program Manager to identify community leaders for community-based trainings and work with Logistics Officer to organize trainings.  Coordinate with Field Workers/Hygiene Promoters, Procurement and Logistics Officers on distribution of hygiene kits with community leaders.  Conduct door-to-door follow-up with Field Workers/Hygiene Promoters if necessary.  Train Field Workers/Hygiene Promoters on data collection and how to report on training activities as required, in coordination with Program Manager.  Perform other duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS &REQUIREMENTS: This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.  BA or BS in public health or related field.  At least 3 years experience in public health and/or hygiene promotion or related position with an NGO, private or government agency.  Share the humanitarian mission of the organization.  Strong integrity, honesty and determination to uphold the values of the organization.  Ability to organize and manage multiple people and tasks calmly while facing pressure.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  Uses creativity to find alternative solutions.  Preference for English-speaking candidates, Arabic fluency a must. Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
