Trainer Child Protection

In the framework of the project “Let’s all go to school initiative“ funded by UNICEF, which aims to empower schools with the capacity and experience to plan and implement extracurricular activities for children using a child friendly approach, Mada is seeking a Trainer Child protection. The trainer will be in charge of developing and implementing a basic training on Child Protection for activity coordinators in public schools. The training should be tailored to provide coordinators with a conceptual understanding and awareness on Child Protection issues, enabling them to better identify different types of child abuse and work on protecting children from any harm.

Bachelor Degree in Pedagogy, Psychology, Social Science or Education
Profound knowledge of child protection
Experience in awareness raising in deprived communities
Good knowledge of the area and its local habits
Experience in interactive and participatory training techniques
Experience in designing trainings and developing training material, questionnaires, evaluation forms and pre- and post-test
Excellent social and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Involvement and commitment Acting in a diplomatic way, representing Mada’s non-religious, non-political and non-sectarian principles and respect for diversity and gender
