Field Coordinator Psychosocial

Within the Framework of the Project “Strengthening education, protection and psychosocial support for Syrian refugee children in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon” the Project Officer will have the following responsibilities and duties: Implement the operational strategies   In consultation with the Project Management He / She will facilitate to build a sound, good and close relation with parties involved in the project implementation at  local level in particular, in the project target schools, municipalities and with other NGOs working on the field. Attend to sectorial cluster meeting upon request of the Project Manager. In consultation with the Project Management He / She will, on the basis of the project requirements, supervise and guide the project  staff in the implementation of the activities. Facilitate the relations with the local partners and municipalities and support the Project Manager in negotiations with the partners and providers. On the basis of the given instruction, assess activities and ensure efficient use of resources; On the basis of the given instruction, assess and analyse the services provided by the project in the Safe Spaces (educational, psycho social and recreational activities) set up in the selected project target schools. In case the project will be extended to other municipality, he/she will be requested to assess and analyse the services provided in these additional municipalities. In consultation with the project management elaborate the necessary logistic planning and arrangements for the execution of the planned activities Support the project manager in the organization of the trainings. Monitor all activities in the field in accordance with reporting schedules. Support the Project manager in the recruitment process of the local staff. Provide oral and written translation service.
