Disability And Vulnerability Focal Point (Dvfp) Project Officer

ACCOUNATBILITIES   Under the direct responsibility of the disability and vulnerability focal point (DVFP) project manager, you will be responsible for :   Organizing      the pluridisciplinary team work (3 social workers, 3 psychosocial workers,      1 physiotherapist) Ensuring      the quality of the work of the teams (assesment of the needs,      distribution, referrals, reporting), following the strategy defined by HI Making      the liaise between the teams and HI referral focal point to ensure a      quality follow-up of referrals and deferrals Identifing      the different services provided by external actors (UN, LNGO, INGO) in      West and Central Beqqa and support the team in focal points identification      and reinforcement Participating      in the analysis and reporting of global issues in the refugee population      and the humanitarian context Providing      regular (weekly, monthly) and ad hoc reports upon line manager’s request Representing      HI on delegation of line manager     Your tasks will inlcude (amongst others):   Organization of the team work   Organize the work of the team on the field : organization of the weekly planning of activities of the plurdisciplinary team, taking into account the visits of technical referents and the objectives given by DVFP PM Responsible for the availability of the materials of the team for the field activities Animate and organize the meetings, with the DVFP team     Supervision      of the work quality of the team on reporting, distribution, referrals and      information sharing   Regular field visits with the team Participate regularly in the identification of the most vulnerable people and of the assessment of their needs in order to monitor the data collection done by the different field teams and to ensure a quality reporting of data in the database Ensure quality referrals and donations, according to the needs and HI strategy Ensure the quality and dynamism of the identification system Ensure the quality of action plans of SW/PSW/PT Ensure the whole process of DVFP, from identification to discharge, is followed-up by the team Organize regular meeting with the team to share information and updates on the programme Organize training/refreshment when needed   Management of deferral/referral cases, in close collaboration with HI referral focal point   Reception of deferrals, distribution to the teams, follow-up and feedbacks to HI focal point In close collaboration with the team, and following the referral strategy of the programme, referral of all the referral cases to HI focal point   Liaison      with stakeholders and identification of the different services provided at      local level   At field level, after validation of DVFP PM, meet on regular basis the different stakeholders Identify the different services the local stakeholders are providing with a systematic approach Complete a detailed mapping of the stakeholders and the available services /gaps in services Work in close collaboration with HI focal point and DVFP Project manager by sharing information on actors activities to ensure an appropriate  and coherent referral strategy At field level, organize the link between stakeholders and HI team Support the team in focal points network identification and reinforcement when needed     Participation      in the analysis and reporting of global issues in the vulnerable      population and the humanitarian context   In formal and informal meetings with the team, participate to a qualitative analysis of the different kinds of issues, at individual, familial and community level Participate to report with the tools and the internal system all issues identified Be part of a constructive holistic team work to develop a very qualitative analysis and response for disable and vulnerable persons   Reporting   Send regular reports to DVFP PM Send minutes from all the meetings and discussions with external actors Send any other report upon DVFP PM request Report any constraints or problems faced with the team before taking any action Report without any delay any security issue     THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS (include various soft skills & language skills)   KNOWLEDGE Mandatory : Project management Vulnerability and/or Disability field   Preferable : Protection Physical rehabilitation Psychosocial   SKILLS Strong planification/organization skills Good communication and listening skills Diplomacy Excellent computers skills (Pack Office) Excelent reporting skills (English) interested canddiates may send their cv to jobs.lebanon@hi-emergency.org and mention the reference DVFP01 in the subject
