Legal Researcher

AFE aims at understanding the context of the countries where the activists working on gender and sexuality are trying to achieve their goals, and how sexuality is used against activists to stop the work they are doing. However this will be achieved by conducting a legal research based on case studies to analyze the laws and legislations that are being used.   The research will provide better understanding on the legislations and laws that authorities are using to control or oppress any movement or any type of activism on gender and sexuality issues. The Legal research has to identify and retrieve information necessary to support legal decision-making. In its broadest sense, the legal research would include each step of a course of action that begins with an analysis of the facts of a problem and conclude with the application and communication of the results of the investigation. AFE is looking for local researchers in Morocco, Tunisia and Iraq.
