Assignment
The Program assistant will report directly to the Emergency Coordinator and Program Coordinator. He/She will support the Emergency Team in the management of the Emergency Program for Syrian Refugees in Lebanon. He/She will be based in Beirut at the AMEL Head Quarters in Salim Salem, Mussaitbeh. Starting on a part-time base with increasing working hours depending on project needs.
Tasks and duties
- To draft correspondence, reports and proposals as necessary
- To translate from Arabic to English and from English to Arabic documents as necessary
- To provide support to Program Coordinators for procurement of items according to the budget
- To provide support to the Finance Manager on accounting and other transactions as necessary
- Communicate directly with the centers in the field on coordination issues related to the daily implementation of the Emergency Program
- Provides support to Program Coordinators on data collection, analysis and reporting as necessary
- Other duties as necessary
