Finance Manager

Chemonics International Inc. seeks candidates for a three year Water Infrastructure Support and Enhancement (WISE) program in Lebanon funded by USAID. The program will enhance Lebanon’s capacity in the management of water resources through water and wastewater infrastructure upgrades and related management support. The project will provide engineering, procurement, construction, supervision and capacity building services for the purposes of enhancement of the water and wastewater infrastructure conditions and management in Lebanon. The finance manager supervises all aspects of project accounting and financial management. S/he ensures that subcontractor invoices and payments are in compliance with payment terms, inputs and manages all expenses with accounting software, works with Chemonics’ home office to review and maintain accounting systems, manages petty cash, monitors project bank account balances, oversees payroll distribution ensuring appropriate tax withholdings, and performs other tasks as necessary. Qualifications: • Degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce. • Minimum of five years experience in accounting and administrative support • Previous professional experience with international donor programs • Possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity • Oral and written English language fluency required • Must be authorized to work in Lebanon.
