Trainer: Planning, Follow-Up And Monitoring Of Activities

In the framework of the project “Let’s all go to school initiative“ funded by UNICEF, which aims to empower schools with the capacity and experience to plan and implement extracurricular activities for children using a child friendly approach, Mada is seeking a Trainer in Planning, Follow up and Monitoring of Activities. The trainer will be in charge of developing and implementing a practical workshop on Planning Follow up and Monitoring for School Activity Committees in Akkar and Hermel. The training should be tailored to enable the Committees to develop an Annual Action Plan for extracurricular activities and to equip them with the proper skills to follow-up and monitor the implementation of these activities in their respective schools.  Mission of Trainer: Design an appropriate workshop on Planning, Follow up & Monitoring of Activities, to meet the project’s objective and reach the results, including all training material Implementation of a one-day workshop for Committees and coordinators Evaluation of Workshop and Reporting Objective of Training: Building capacities of school committees and coordinators on planning, follow-up and monitoring techniques and mobilizing them towards the realization of extracurricular activities plan, including timeframe and resources needed   Training Content:   The planning concept and its importance Method of drafting making an extracurricular activities plan (including timeframe, human and material resources needed and related budgets) Drafting Annual Action Plan for low-cost extracurricular activities Monitoring and follow-up techniques and tools

• Master Degree in Management, Education or Social Science ‎
• Experience in interactive and participatory training techniques
• Profound knowledge of planning and management of low cost extracurricular ‎activities in ‎deprived regions and public school settings
• Experience in awareness raising and in motivating deprived communities
• Good knowledge of the area and its local habits
• Experience in designing trainings and developing training material
• Experience in the design questionnaires, evaluation forms and pre- and post test
• Excellent social and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Involvement and commitment Acting in a diplomatic way, representing Mada’s non-religious, ‎non-political and non-sectarian principles and respect for diversity and gender
